    1. Short book but informative about the founding of Jamestown and what was really going on in Virginia at that time.

    2. This book that I am reading now was found in my school library's historical section. I'm mostly reading it to brush up on some facts about Jamestown and learn more names and stories to help me gain insight on life in early colonial life in the colony of Virginia. It's a bit of a dull read (not that it's bad) but is informative and (usually) to the point which is good. 3. Interesting but a little boring. Each chapter deals with a topic (example: "God and Man at Jamestown")so that during the reading we are taken back and forth along the timeline (1544-1699), which was somewhat disorienting. I had to keep looking back to previous chapters to keep the chronology of events straight.
