    1. I think maybe this was too young for me to enjoy.I thought it was just silly that she'd completely fallen for a boy she didn't even know - just knowing she loved him so much. I didn't agree that it was Ian's fault she fell in love with him and that he should have done better. Ian has no control over Steph's emotions (especially when they didn't really know each other)The fantasy turn of events was just odd. I didn't enjoy this one.

    2. Very interesting and fresh take on a fantasy story. A bit rushed at the end but overall fun to read. I couldn't put it down.

    3. Pining after someone you know you shouldn't and having some feelings of despair is something we've all done. Regrettably. To read this, and other book reviews, visit my website:jenpaul13.wix/makinggoodst.Jon Jacks's Heartache High explores that concept in an intriguing manner. Stephanie (Steph) Johnson wakes up from dreaming of Iain Sinclair in a strange room with absolutely no memory of how she got there. It appears to be an abandoned Victorian property and she runs through the possibilities of [...]

    4. An awesomely unique read to clean your book pallet!!Wow! I was having that problem readers get when they are bored with their preselected reading material. I was stumped. I couldn't decide what do read. Heartache High was the absolute best story to read in between my other books. I actually feel refreshed after reading it. I can't wait for my 16 year OK to read it. You will never guess what the outcome will be. I was so drawn into the book that time flew by and I reached the end. If you've ever [...]

    5. The main character in this story is a young teenager who wakes from a dream and finds herself in a place she doesn't recognize and at first wonders if she has been put in a mental institution. When she finally realizes she is in a high school she thinks she is dead and they are all ghosts. No one ever leaves Heartache High. In theory everyone there has one thing in common: they've all suffered heartache (who hasn't?). And even stranger is some of the "teen" students have been there 15 or 20 year [...]

    6. Really?!This story has so much potential and as a reader I feel like I only received a quarter of what this story can really be. I want to know so much more about Heartache High, stories of other students, Stephanie and Iain's relationship and what is going on in the "real world". I was left very unsatisfied therefore giving the rating of 2 stars.
