    1. I picked this book up without knowing that it is the fourth book in Dear Daphne series. I had no trouble reading and enjoying A Will, a Way, and a Wedding as a standalone. But I will say I am totally committed to backtracking and reading the first three books. The series is a year in the life of Daphne -- a mid-thirties woman as she navigates the highs and lows of her ever changing circumstances. It's funny and poignant and very true to life.Daphne angsts over her single status as she adjusts to [...]

    2. Seems like I waited forever for the conclusion to this series but it was well worth it! Awesome books, all of them! So much drama and stress yet simple reminders to wait on God and trust in his ways! Perfect ending!

    3. A Will, A Way, and A Wedding by Melody Carlson is number four in her Dear Daphne series. Daphne Ballinger is looking for a husband. Nobody seems to measure up. When she finally thinks she’s found Mr. Right, he starts backing away from her. Now, what is she going to do? I liked the way she finally stops and re-evaluates her life. Then she gives everything over to God to work out and focuses on making her daughter happy. At times this book seemed very juvenile in writing. The ending seemed a lit [...]

    4. Phew! Now I can breathe again! The author did kind of give hints at the end of each book in this series about who her husband would be. I kind of liked someone else for her, but it worked out much better than I hoped. Still the lesson that runs through all 4 books, the one that speaks to me, is that we learn to depend on God and be content with whatever He gives us. Very well done!

    5. A wonderful ending to this series. I would love to read more about them. I will miss them. They have become a part of me. This is great writing and a wonderful story.

    6. ordered from mel 04/03/17 been waiting for this last book in the series did not realize it came out last year.

    7. Just when Daphne thinks that she may be getting close to fulfilling her aunt's will Jake has some news that will put a crimp in her hopes and dreams. Daphne's aunt left everything to Daphne provided that Daphne marry within a year of her aunts death. That year is quickly coming to a close and Daphne still is not any closer to marrying than she was at the beginning. Through many dating mishaps Daphne has had in the last year for one reason or another only one man has captured her attention. Her l [...]

    8. Wonderful StorytellingAs Daphne counts down the days that will end her time of living in her Aunt Dee's house, she has come to accept that she did her best. Daphne and her adopted daughter Mabel love this town, the friendships they have and the house that Daphne grew up in. She does not understand why Aunt Dee made the inheritance dependent on her being married by the end of one year. Daphne knew people who were friends and married hoping love would come later. She thought about some of the male [...]

    9. I was disappointed in this one. I felt like the author could have wrapped everything up in the last book by combining these two. So much of Daphne's day to day life is just plain boring. I could have done away with all the pizza they ate, the drama of if she should get married just for the money and if so to whom, etc. I counted and she said Mabel was over the moon about something at least three times. Don't you have a thesaurus and could come up with some other expression? And if you are going [...]

    10. I have so enjoyed this series. From the first book I loved reading about Daphne, so much so that after the places I review for stopped offering the book I purchased that last two. I am so glad I read them all. This last book is by far my favorite of the four. However, if I only read this book I’m not sure I would have loved it as much. Reading the whole series definitely gave a deeper sense of care for each character. The book finished beautifully. In some ways as I expected but in others ways n [...]

    11. Lovely end to the series. One thing I've appreciated about these books is that there's nothing overly dramatic that happens so many romance books have some *gasp* utterly devastating happen just for the sake of the story. This series has been fairly low on drama while still having an interesting plot. This latest book does amp up the tension/drama, but there is a happily ever after after-all.

    12. Good Ending to Great SeriesI'm going to miss Daphne, Sabrina, and the rest of the characters in this final book in the Dear Daphne Series. I enjoyed this series about Daphne who is due to inherit from her Aunt who maybe isn't her Aunt her entire estate if she marries within a year. If she doesn'twell let's just say those cats will be living very well! Enjoyable. Lighthearted. Just plain fun!!

    13. Absolutely loved this whole series. Refreshing romance that demonstrates how friends and family are an important part of our lives. And, that when we take the time to reach out to others, we can reap great rewards.

    14. Melody Carlson can take you away and you feel like you are part of the story. She writes in away that creates wonderful word pictures and makes you not want to read the last chapter because you know the story will be over.

    15. Great finale to a series that, IMO, struggled in the last book. Credit all the way for well-fleshed out characters and an engaging storyline.

    16. I just wanted her to catch a break and fall in love with someone who will love her back all before the inheritance time ended. This was a good last book in the series to tie it all together.

    17. This was a great, fun book. Always love the characters and she finished the series up well! Wish I had a way to read more of this series!

    18. Leslie, Central patron, June 2016, 4 stars:Last in a four part romance. Easy read, enjoyable characters.
