    1. This is the most beautiful and probably the most important book on yoga and spirituality that I have read to date. Swami Vivekananda was the supreme writer and thinker regarding the four paths of yoga, and after reading his work, I am ever more convinced that he was enlightened. If we could all follow his profound guidance, we would ebe infinitely happier.

    2. The first thing that comes to my mind is why did I not read this book of a great vision and personality when I was young. I would strongly. suggest ever person young or old at least make an effort to read this book or any book written of Swami Vivekananda. The only set back is unnecessary length of the book. I don't know if it was lack of my understanding of the contents. This book is about soul and body. Once any person reads this book it would change the way they live today. It is not about re [...]

    3. Pathways to Joy is the most enlightened yoga/spirituality book I've ever read. Master Vivekananda teaches the four yoga paths to God including:Karma Yoga-the manner in which we realize our divinity through works and duty. Bhakti Yoga-the realization of the divinity through devotion to and love of God. Raja Yoga-the realization of the divinity though the control of the mind and Jnana Yoga-the realization of our divinity through knowlege. I really enjoyed his teachings, his thoughts and the spirit [...]

    4. The book is a little too long for it's content. It's repetitive. It's a good introduction and it's organized well. The four pathways refers to the four yogas or actions; Jnani, Karma, Raja and Bhakti. These are four ways of being closer to God. It's in the Vedanta tradition. It is built out of 108 lectures of Swami Vivekananda.

    5. Sorprendente para los que nos hemos criado en la cultura cristiana occidental. Una visión radicalmente distinta de la espiritualidad, mucho más amable y seductora
